Admission Decisions
Once an application has been submitted, department staff will perform an initial evaluation and either:

Some departments will send letters or e-mails to applicants indicating they have been recommended for admission, however this does not guarantee admission.
All admissions are subject to approval by the FGSR and official letters of admission are sent only by the FGSR.
If admitted, you will be assigned a graduate student category based on your previous academic background.
Applicants should be aware there is no formal appeal in admission matters, and departments and the FGSR do not have to entertain appeals regarding admission decisions.
