Academically-Related Employment other than Assistantships

Graduate students may be hired to perform casual, academically-related employment outside of an assistantship, such as reading, marking or demonstrating.

The employment should still require the student to utilize the knowledge and/or skill set of his or her academic discipline, but the duties should be short-term (eg. a graduate student is needed to conduct lab tutorials for two weeks).

The following agreements outline the minimum hourly rate to be paid to graduate students for such work.
