Minimum Admission Requirement
GPA
  • a baccalaureate degree or its academic equivalent from an academic institution recognized by the University of Alberta
  • 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale on the most recent two years of full-time study (or equivalent)
English Language Proficiency
Applicants with degrees/qualifications in a language other than English may need to demonstrate English Language Proficiency through one of the following exam scores:
  • TOEFL: minimum score of 600 (paper-based) or a total score of 100 with a score of at least 22 on each of the individual skill areas (internet-based)
  • IELTS (Academic): minimum overall band score of 7, with at least 6.5 on each band
Other Requirements
  • relevant work experience can be an important basis for admission
