| When a student's knowledge base crosses over two or more disciplines and cannot be accommodated by an existing U of A graduate program, an Individual Interdisciplinary Program may be proposed.
Individual Interdisciplinary Programs require extensive involvement from U of A graduate departments and the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
Students considering an individualized program should first contact U of A departments offering areas of research in which they're interested. See Programs for a listing of departments.
After consulting with the departments, the following form must be completed by the student and the participating departments.
