Recruitment Scholarship Competition

The FGSR Recruitment Scholarship Competition attracts the best and brightest students to the University of Alberta.

Students do not need to apply for Recruitment Scholarships; departments recommend and nominate eligible students using the appropriate form below.

Scholarships include:

  • U of A Course-based Master's Scholarship
  • U of A Master's Scholarship
  • U of A Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship

    2013 Recruitment Scholarship Competition

    For September 2013 & January 2014 admissions

        U of A Course-based Master's Scholarship

        Departments may submit one nomination

        Nomination Deadline: Wednesday, March 20

        U of A Master's Scholarship

        Departments may submit a maximum of two nominations per competition

    U of A Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship

        Nomination Deadlines:

    • Deadline for nomination forms for students beginning program in September 2013 is July 1, 2013.
    • For students with a January 1, 2014 start, the deadline for receipt of nominations is November 1, 2013.
