Upon receiving the completed application file with a recommendation for admission from the department, the FGSR reviews the file to ensure that the applicant meets the minimum academic requirements of the FGSR. The FGSR then sends the appropriate admission approval letter to the applicant.

In cases where the admission approval is conditional, the specific conditions are clearly stipulated in the letter to the applicant (see "Admission with Conditions").

A copy of the admission approval letter is sent to the department. The FGSR normally completes a straightforward admission within one week, however evaluations may take longer during peak admission periods.
