Changing Your Registration

Remember to consult with your department before making any registration changes.

 

Course Add or Drop

Before the registration deadline
  • use the Bear Tracks registration system as you did before to add, drop or swap courses

    Note: When changing course, always add the new course first and then drop the old course.

  • courses closed to web registration must be done by the department. See courses closed to web registration
  • if you decide not to attend, be sure to drop all of your courses to avoid paying fees
After the registration deadline

All late registration changes must be done by the FGSR in consultation with an advisor from your Faculty or department.


Adding Courses
  • students must contact the department and sign a Courses to be Added/Deleted form
  • the department submits the completed form along with a notation from the course instructor stating that the student has been attending classes, or is expected to successfully complete the course after starting late
  • forms received in the FGSR without this notation and departmental approval will be returned to the department



Dropping Courses
  • students must complete a Withdrawal form and submit it to the FGSR for approval and processing before the withdrawal deadline
  • withdrawals prior to the withdrawal deadline will be recorded on a student's transcript as a withdrawal (W)
