Dorothy J Killam Memorial Graduate Prizes

The Dorothy J Killam Memorial Graduate Prizes were created in the fall of 2002 to honor the memory of Dorothy J Killam.

Prizes are awarded annually to the most outstanding Killam Memorial Scholarship recipients in each of the four discipline-specific subcommittees in the annual scholarship competition: Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences; Life and Health Sciences; Social Sciences, Humanities and Fine Arts; and Education, Physical Education and Professional Programs.

The recipients are selected based on academic achievement, a research proposal, letters of recommendation, and leadership qualities. Recipients receive a cash prize of $2,500 and a certificate acknowledging their award.
