Auditing a Course
All registered graduate students (except Special students) may seek permission to audit a course.
Permission to register as an auditor cannot officially be granted until the number of students registered for credit is known (ie. after registration closes for credit students).
If there is still room in the class, a Course Audit form must be signed by both the instructor of the course and either the Chair or Graduate Coordinator of the student’s home department, and then submitted to the FGSR for approval.
Consult the Academic Schedule of the University Calendar for the exact dates to register for audit.

Credit to Audit
Students who wish to change a course from credit to audit must first consult their supervisor or program advisor, and then complete a Course Audit form.
Consult the Academic Schedule of the University Calendar for the exact dates to register for audit, and to change from credit to audit.
